It continued through September of 2008 when the Morton Family departed Coronation Street. Barden debuted in 2007 with the comedy drama Mrs. Ratcliffe's Revolution. She played Pea in the stage production Jerusalem, a production at London's Royal Court Theatre. The production was later transferred to the Apollo Theatre West End.
